Richard Kent “Jock” Crouch of Miami died Tuesday, May 8, 2007, at his home. He was 60.

Crouch was born Aug. 25, 1946, in Kansas City, Mo., to Clarence Babe and Loretta B. (Davis) Crouch. He lived in the Miami area all of his life. He worked for Pettit Manufacturing for five years. He worked in emergency management. He was a member of the Picher Volunteer Fire Department for 10 years.

He was married to Viola Blunk. She survives, of the home.

Additional survivors include three sons, Jason Crouch, Justin Crouch and Bobbie Stanley, all of Miami; one brother, Gary Crouch of Dallas, Texas, and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Paul Thomas Funeral Home of Miami with the Rev. Ray Kroch officiating. Burial will be in Glen Abbey Memorial Gardens, east of Miami.

Pallbearers will be Claude Blunk, Bobby Blunk, Fred Blunk, Bill Blunk, Allen Judd and Terry Hayworth.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
