Patty Ann Phillips of Miami, Okla. passed away Saturday, June 10, 2017 at Freeman Health System in Joplin, Mo.  She was 82.

Patty was born August 15, 1934 in Douthat, Okla. to Logan and Hazel (Wyatt) Woods.  She graduated from Picher High School in 1953 and had lived in Picher all of her life before moving to Miami in 2007.    She was a bookkeeper for Neal Norton Motors in Miami, Okla. and Consolidated Supply in Treece, Kans.  She was Assembly of God faith.  

Patty was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Jay Woods and Dennis Woods and four sisters Helen Scrivner, Janelle Woods, Imogene Moore and Lucille Abernathy.

Survivors include two sons Bill Phillips and wife Vickey of Joplin, Mo. and Keith Phillips of Joplin, Mo., her daughter Connie Ross and husband Jack of Miami, Okla., six grandchildren, 16 grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. 

Graveside services will be Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at G.A.R. Cemetery in Miami, Okla.   Rev. Kristy Bauer will officiate.  Pallbearers will be Beau Ross, Michael Phillips, Kalen Ross, Michael Horn, Matt Horn and Cole Horn.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Caleb Phillips, Gage Horn, Ryan Thomure and Wyatt Ross.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Miami, Okla.   Services have been placed in the care of the Paul Thomas Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Miami, Okla.  Online condolences may be made at
