Richard Franklin Morrison, formerly of Miami, passed away on Saturday May 20, 2017.  

Richard was born January 31, 1970 in Manassas, Virginia.  He was the youngest son of the late Guy Daly and Sandra Kay (Huddleston) Morrison.  After his father's death, he moved to Miami and attended school there until 1987. On November 9, 2012, he married Charlotte Amanda Harris.    

He worked many jobs in his life, including as a CNA in several nursing homes, a mechanic with a traveling carnival, and as a landscaper.  Richard enjoyed cooking, traveling, camping and fishing.  He was a life member of VFW post 8380 in Grove, and attended the First Apostolic Church in Highlands, Texas.  

He is survived by his wife Amanda and their daughter, Phoenix of the home.  He is also survived by his children from a prior marriage; Nicole and Stuart Graves of Claremore, Samantha Bogle of Afton, James Morrison of Zena, and Shawna Smith of Cassville, Missouri.  Additional survivors include his brothers John and Guy Morrison and his granddaughter Aurora Graves.  

A celebration of his life will be held at 1 p.m. in Disney, Oklahoma on June 17, 2017.
