Sally Mae Cruzan Lane of Miami, Okla. passed away Saturday, January 28, 2017 at Eastwood Manor in Commerce, Okla.  She was 79.

Sally was born May 6, 1937 in Picher, Okla. to Willis and Florence (Genthe) Cruzan.  She had lived in Picher all her life until 2008 when she moved to Miami.   She graduated from Picher High School Class of 1955.  She worked as a secretary and bookkeeper for Lion Supply Co. in Picher, Okla. for many years.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Picher for many years and had perfect attendance at Sunday school and Church for over 20 years.  She later was a member of the Green Acres Baptist Church in Miami, Okla. 

She was preceded in death by her husband Ed Lane, her parents, three brothers Leonard Cruzan, Theodore Cruzan and George Cruzan and her sister Nancy Cruzan.

Survivors include her brother James Cruzan of Joplin, Mo., five nieces and nephews , several great nieces and nephews and several great-great nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Miami, Okla.  Rev. Ed Williams and Danny Garner will officiate.  Interment will be in G.A.R. Cemetery in Miami, Okla.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Thursday before the service at the funeral home.  Services have been placed in care of the Paul Thomas Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Miami, Okla.  Online condolences may be made at www.paulthomasfuneralhomes.com.
