Jimmy Dale Carver, of Joplin, Mo. Passed away, Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Sweet Springs, Mo. after a sudden illness.  He was 53.  Jim was born on March 18, 1963 in Miami, Okla. To Loran and Sue Carver.  He lived in Picher most of his life.  He was a truck driver.  Jim graduated from Picher-Cardin High School in 1982.  He was a former member of the Oklahoma National Guard and Picher Volunteer Fire Department.  He was a member of the Miami Tribe of Oklahoma. 

Jim was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.  He is survived by his wife, Tracy of the home, two sons, Jimmy Carver II and wife Becky of Miami, JD Carver and fiancé Delia Lewis of North Miami, one daughter, Jennifer Wallin of Tulsa, three granddaughters; Morgan Carver of Commerce, Kourtney Wallin of North Miami, Jeremy Wallin of North Miami, Shyanne Carver of Miami and one great-grandson, Cole Carver of Commerce.  He is also survived by two sisters, Sheila Lyle and husband Lee of Quapaw and Lucy Van Dalfsen of Joplin, one brother, James Carver of Lowell, Kansas and wife Gillie as well as a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends 

Memorial Service for Jimmy Carver will be held at 1:00 p.m. on January 7, 2017 at Southeast Baptist Church in Commerce, Oklahoma, with Shane Horner officiating.  Internment will be at Greenlawn Cemetary, Columbus, Kansas.   The family will receive condolences at the home of Lee and Sheila Lyle in Quapaw, Okla.
