The Coleman Theatre, downtown Miami is pleased to welcome live to their stage, direct from the Lone Star state, Bob Willsí Texas Playboys, Saturday, June 26 at 7:30 pm.

Bob Willsí was the driving force behind western swing and changed cowboy music forever. A master at synthesizing styles, Willsí brought an element of jazz, hillbilly, boogie, blues, big-band swing, mariachi and jitterbug to the traditional country music genre. The Texas Playboys continue the tradition today featuring Leon Raush as vocalist and Tommy Allsup on the guitar.

Leon Raush is an original member of the Texas Playboys. Having worked with legends of our time in country music, Raush is a first class, strictly country artist with a smooth, solid voice and a Texas swing delivery that makes him one of the most popular artists in the country. He has appeared with such artists as Glen Campbell, Roy Clark, Loretta Lynn, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, George Strait, Don Edwards, Jim Reeves, The Sons of the Pioneers, Ernest Tubb, Patsy Cline, Mel Tillis and many more.

Tommy Allsup started his musical career in Claremore, Oklahoma in 1949 with the Oklahoma Swingbillies. After playing lead guitar for Buddy Holly and the Crickets he began producing Bob Willsí and the Texas Playboys. Allsup has produced records for musical greats such as Willie Nelson, Tex Williams, Joe Carson, Warren Smith, Billie Mize and Cliff Crofford. He has also produced swing LPís with Jody Nix, Curly Chalker, Mark Sanders, Johnny Bush and Leon Raush.
