Clouds and rain are to return to Oklahoma through the start of the weekend.

The National Weather Service said Thursday night would become mostly cloudy with showers and thunderstorms developing during the night and lows ranging from the mid 50s in the Panhandle to near 70 degrees in southern and eastern Oklahoma.

Friday is to be partly cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms and highs from the upper 70s in the Panhandle to around 90 in the southwest.

Cloudy skies with continuing rain are forecast Saturday with highs from the mid 60s to mid 70s and overnight lows falling into the mid 40s in the Panhandle to the lower 60s in the southeast.
