Chris Hofschulte, a Wyandotte FFA member, won the Bronze Medallion Market Barrow with his 279 pound Crossbred during the 2009 Oklahoma Youth Expo held March 13-23 at the Oklahoma State Fairgrounds in Oklahoma City.

Each year approximately 6,500 young people across Oklahoma gather at the State Fairgrounds to compete at the Oklahoma Youth Expo, the State Championship for junior livestock exhibitors. Coined as the "World’s Largest Junior Livestock Show", the Oklahoma Youth Expo has become one of the state’s largest providers of scholarship awards to rural students.

The Sale of Champions is the pinnacle of the Oklahoma Youth Expo which showcased the top 195 animals exhibited and awarded approximately $743,000.00 to the youth selected for this honor. Chris’ animal was purchased in the Sale of Champions by Blue and Gold Sausage and Central States Trailers.
