A 70-year-old Langley man was injured Thursday in a two-vehicle accident one mile west of Jay.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Celedonio Vega was driving a 1990 Oldsmobile westbound on Oklahoma Highway 20 when he was struck head-on by an eastbound 2000 Dodge which crossed the center line.

The driver of the Dodge, 17-year-old Joseph Smith, was not injured nor were passengers Lakayla Smith, 10 months old and 2-year-old Halie Smith.

A passenger in Vega's vehicle, Margarita Ramirez, 63, sustained external injuries and was transported to a Grove hospital in good condition. Janet Garcia, 13, a second passenger in Vega's vehicle, was not injured.
