A Tahlequah woman was killed Sunday in a one-vehicle accident in Delaware County.
According to highway patrol trooper James Loftis, 37-year-old Lisa Corbell was pronounced dead at the scene after being ejected from a 1992 Ford Ranger.
The driver of the Ranger, Christopher Pruitt, 45, of Jay, was airlifted to a Tulsa hospital where he was listed in poor condition Monday morning.
Loftis said Pruitt was traveling northbound on a county road, four miles north of Leach just after midnight Sunday, when his vehicle ran off the right side of the road and overturned three times.
Pruitt and Corbell were both thrown from the vehicle. Loftis said neither of them was wearing a seatbelt.
