Miami Little Theatre season memberships are now on sale for the 2010-11 season. Plays include “The Wizard of Oz”, “Arsenic and Old Lace”, “The Cemetery Club”, “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat” and a special fifth show, “A Tuna Christmas.”

“The Wizard of Oz” was wildly successful the last time the show was performed at the Coleman Theatre. Every performance was played to a packed house,” stated newly re-elected MLT president, Pamela Catt.

“Arsenic and Old Lace” is one of the most beloved stage comedies, featuring a New York drama critic coping with his two spinster aunts who happen to occasionally murder lonely old men with poison.

Three Jewish widows who visit their husbands’ graves once a month are the characters in the comedy, “The Cemetery Club”.

The music of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice comes to life in “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat.” The show is a first for Miami Little Theatre and is based on the biblical story of Joseph and his coat of many colors.

A fifth show, “A Tuna Christmas” is another installment of the “Greater Tuna” two-man laugh riots set in the tiny town of Tuna, Texas, populated by the quirkiest of characters. This show is a bonus show for season ticket buyers.

Adult season memberships are $45. Senior and student memberships are $35. Patron, underwriter and sponsor memberships are also available. Contact any MLT board member or visit Judy Pitman at Osborn Drugs, 11 West Central to purchase season tickets.
