A winter snowstorm moving through yesterday and last night dumped an estimated three inches of snow in the Miami area.

Road crews struggled with trying to keep the roads clear as precipitation fell at a constant rate throughout the afternoon and evening.

According to the Oklahoma Department of Public Safety, all roads in Craig, Delaware, Mayes, Nowata, Ottawa, and Washington counties are covered with ice and snow and all travel is discouraged.

Temperatures are expected to top out in the mid-twenties, and the overnight low is expected to be around 12F.
