The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported a two-vehicle collision occurring on mile marker 308, westbound, on the Will Rogers Turnpike in Ottawa County Wednesday afternoon.

According to the report Tyler Shipp, 51, of Manchester, MO was driving westbound on the turnpike in a 2006 Infiniti with Danielle Frantz, 36, also of Manchester, and her two-year old son Cole Frantz, when he fell asleep and rear-ended a westbound Freightliner semi driven by Jaswinder Singh, 47, of Lathrop, CA.

Danielle Frantz was trapped in the car for approximately 30 minutes, according to the report, and was transported to Baptist Regional Hospital in Miami with head, arm, and leg injuries. She was treated and released, the report stated. The Miami Fire Department extracted Frantz from the vehicle.

Cole Frantz was transported  by Eagle Med Air Ambulance to St Francis Hospital in Tulsa with head injuries and was listed in good condition, according to the report.

Tyler Shipp refused treatment at the scene for hand injuries the report stated.

Singh was uninjured.

According to the OHP report all persons were wearing seat belts and Cole Frantz was in a child safety seat.
