Fifty-three potential jurors were narrowed down to 13 Monday morning for the trial of Skye Reece, 20, who is accused of murdering 17-month-old Lanceton Hollenbeck, whose father, Ryan Nowlin, Reece lived with at the time.

One by one Judge Robert Haney excused potential jurors until the final 12 jurors, with one alternate, were seated: one woman and 11 men.

He probably wouldn't stop crying and she was jealous of him and flew in a rage. I understand sticking by your child but when all of the evidence points to her, you need to quit telling stories and accept it. No one would want to believe their child is capable of such a thing but it happens all of the time.
