The Miami Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the musical entertainment schedule for Miami NOW, Friday, Sept. 30 through Sunday, Oct. 2.
The fun begins Friday as Willie and the Po' Boyz take the stage at the Miami Fairgrounds at 4-5:30 p.m. Willie and the Po' Boyz play all over the Midwest and always keep the crowd jumping with their boogie-woogie and blues.
Solace performs live, 8-10 p.m. A multi-genre band, Solace burns up the honkeytonks and shakes up crowds with their diversity everywhere they go.
The entertainment continues Saturday, Oct. 1, as Bad Knees Risin' performs 12-2 p.m. You won't want to miss this local three-piece band as they play 50s, 60s and 70s rock, country and blues.
Tragic Prelude takes the stage from 3:15-5 p.m. Tragic Prelude is a highly energetic string band from Southeast Kansas, entertaining crowds with an eclectic mix of old country to new alternative bluegrass.
Nightcrawler performs at 6:15-9 p.m. Nightcrawler is a classic rock band whose song selections span over three decades. These musicians are influenced by everything from blues legends Jimmy Reed and Otis Redding, to guitar greats such as Carlos Santana, to Texas Rockers, such as ZZ Top and Stevie Ray Vaughn.
