Four of Miami’s largest tourism draws will greet visitors from the face of a state tourism guide.

Waylan’s KuKu, Coleman Theatrre Beautiful, Route 66 Ribbon Road and a gaming machine are featured on the cover of the 2009 Northeast Oklahoma’s Guide to Green Country.

The newest edition has just been released and is packed with information for planning trips and vacations throughout the 18-county region of northeastern Oklahoma’s Green Country, according to Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau Program Director Amanda Davis.

“The 64-page Guide is filled with all sorts of travel and attraction information. It’s a must-have for anyone who wants to take full advantage of tourism attractions, events and destinations in our 18-county region of the state,” said Jackie Stewart, executive director of Green Country Marketing Association.

The 2009 Guide to Green Country, the official publication of Green Country Marketing Association, is produced in cooperation with the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department. Green Country Marketing Assn. is one of 11 multi-county organizations working with the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department, the Oklahoma Travel Industry Association and the other 10 multi-county marketing associations to promote the state tourism industry.
