A 62-year-old Miami woman was seriously injured Friday in a one-vehicle accident southwest of town, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

According to Trooper Caleb Cole, Linda L. Collins was traveling west on a county road three miles south of Miami and one-half mile west of U.S. Highway 59 when she failed to negotiate a curve.

The vehicle reportedly ran of the right side of the road and overturned four-and-a-half times before coming to a rest on its roof.

Collins was transported by ambulance to Integris Baptist Regional Health Center with multiple injuries and was listed in serious condition.
