On Friday, April 20, the Miami Area Chamber of Commerce will host the semi-annual Eggs ‘N Issues Legislative Breakfast at Montana Mike’s Restaurant beginning at 7:30 a.m. The doors will open at 7:15 am for a breakfast buffet followed with presentations by local, tribal, state and federal elected officials. The event is hosted by the Miami Area Chamber and Northeast Oklahoma Electric Cooperative.
“Eggs ‘N Issues Legislative Breakfast is an event that provides business owners, employers and employees with quality information directly from government officials,” stated Ian Drake, Chamber Executive Director. “Each legislator or representative will be allotted time to provide an update on activities in their area of government, and a question and answer period will follow as time allows.”
The event is open to the public. Cost to attend is $10 per person for Chamber members and their guests or $13 per person for non-chamber members, and includes breakfast. Reservations are required and should be made no later than April 16 by contacting the Miami Area Chamber of Commerce at (918) 542-4481 or via email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Seating is limited.
