A Welch man is facing multiple charges of assault and battery with a deadly weapon after stabbing two people in his hometown last month.
Andrew James Marlow, 20, is accused of stabbing 18-year-old Arron Roberson in the side, puncturing his lung.
According to the arrest affidavit, Marlow was at Robersonís residence at approximately 3:30 a.m. on Jan. 18, when the two men got into a physical altercation.
Marlow allegedly stabbed Roberson with a pocketknife.
Authorities say shortly after the stabbing, while Roberson was en route to the hospital, Marlow turned the knife on Robersonís stepfather, Jody Paxson.
Paxson, 47, was stabbed multiple times, according to Detective Rusty Satterwhite. He was flown to a Joplin hospital with multiple injuries, including a collapsed lung and severed artery.
