The News-Record is currently seeking to identify area World War II and Korean War veterans and gather them together for a group photograph.
The project is the first step in establishing an archive of area veterans and documenting their war experiences.
The News-Record has reserved the ballroom of the Miami Civic Center for 6 p.m., Nov. 7 where group photos will be taken shortly thereafter.
News-Record representatives will be on hand to gather information for followup commuications and to schedule interviews.
The photos will be printed in the Veterans Day edition of the News-Record and an upcoming special publication will be dedicated to the men and women who have served this country during times of war.
The News-Record plans to continue to photograph veterans annually and will expand the project to include veterans of all wars since World War II.
