Rain is expected to diminish somewhat across the state and sunshine is to return with warmer temperatures in Oklahoma.

The National Weather Service said Wednesday night would become partly cloudy with lows from the upper 50s to mid 60s.

Thursday is to be mostly sunny with only a slight chance for scattered showers in the east and highs reaching the mid 80s to lower 90s.

The clearing is to be short-lived with skies becoming mostly cloudy by Friday with highs from the upper 70s to upper 80s and lows falling to the mid 60s to mid 70s.
