Authorities are investigating three incidents of windows being shot out of parked vehicles between Wednesday night and Friday morning.
The first reported incident occurred at 124 7th Ave. SE, where a 53-year-old male resident reported the rear window shattered on his 2006 Chevrolet van and the front windows shot out of a Forest River motor home. The damage is estimated at more than $3,000.
A 23-year-old resident in the 1000 block of BJ Tunnell Boulevard told police that the back glass of her 1999 Lexus had been shattered, causing an estimated $1,200 in damage.
Friday morning, authorities took a report from a resident in the 500 block of F Street SE who advised that the windshield of her 1993 Buick had been shot out. Approximately $300 in damage was caused.
Detectives are investigating the crime believe a BB gun was used.
