Miami native Ashley Boling has been selected a Top 10 Senior in Oklahoma State University’s College of Education. The honorees will be recognized at a reception in Willard Hall on the OSU campus on May 8.
The College of Education Student Affairs Committee selects the Top Ten Senior students who have demonstrated exceptional qualities of leadership, academic excellence, and service. Students must have completed 90 or more credit hours, 24 of which must be at OSU, and they are eligible to graduate during this academic year.
Boling is set to graduate this weekend with a Bachelor of Science degree in aerospace administration and operations, professional pilot.
Boling has been an active member of the OSU Flying Aggies Flight Team and was selected the organization’s Female Flying Aggie of the Year in 2006 and 2008. She earned the second-place award in the Top Female Pilot NIFA Region VI award. Boling was also involved in planning the Flying Aggies’ 60th Anniversary event.
She is a member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honors Society, Golden Key International Honour Society and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars.
Boling has a Commercial Pilot Certificate, Instrument Rating, and a Federal Aviation Association Class III Medical.
