The Ottawa Tribe of Oklahoma host its annual Labor Day Pow Wow celebration at Adawe Park this weekend.

The festivities will begin at 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 29, with a gourd dance, followed by a stomp dance and social dances.

The three-day celebrati includes a full slate of activites including entertainment, art exhibits, crafts and food.

Throughout the weekend, Native American tribes will demonstrate a variety of ceremonial dancing.

Saturday, a full schedule of Native American dance is lined up with the first exhibit beginning at 10 a.m. Dancing will continue until well after midnight. Sunday's events begin at 9 a.m. and will continue until midnight.

The Ottawa Tribe invites everyone to join them in celebration of the Native American people.

Adawe Park is located on South 613 Road - five miles east of the Will Rogers Turnpike gate and one mile south.
