FAIRLAND - A Fairland convenience store was robbed Friday evening at gunpoint, police officials said.

According to Fairland Chief of Police Wes Sly, at approximately 4:30 p.m. a juvenile subject walked into the store with a rifle and left with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Authorities say no one was hurt during the robbery and the suspect, whose name is being withheld due to his age, was apprehended a short while later on I-44.
