The new advertisement for the listing at 401 G St. NE may read “Wrecked house for sale”.
Early Thursday morning the west end of the unoccupied home quickly turned into a carport when an out-of-control automobile crashed through it.
According to authorities, Charles Prairie Chief, 40, of Miami, nearly passed out from a “coughing spell” while driving northbound in the 300 block of G Street NE.
A passenger in the vehicle told officers she attempted to control the vehicle, but it accelerated and crashed through a privacy fence at the corner of 4th and G Street.
The vehicle continued through the yard and into the south side of the house.
“The vehicle came to rest with the front of the vehicle emerging from the north side of the house,” said Officer Brad McMinn.
Prairie Chief and two passengers in the vehicle, Robin Lash Prairie Chief, 44, and Robin Hopkins, 49, of Edmond, were transported by ambulance to Integris Baptist Regional.
No one suffered serious injuries.
