SENECA, MO. - A North Miami man suffered serious injuries over the weekend when his motorcycle was struck from behind north of Seneca, Mo.

Walter R. Darr, 31, was driving a 2005 Yamaha south on Missouri Highway 43, one mile north of Seneca when he was rear-ended by a 1999 Ford station wagon driven by 41-year-old Fred Mills, of Seneca.

Missouri authorities say Darr was taken to a Joplin Hospital with serious injuries. He was not wearing a helmet, according to the accident.

No other injuries were reported.
