1. Enjoy a good stretch with yoga at the Fairland Farmers Market Saturday, Sept. 15 presented by 27 Stairs Yoga. The session begins at 8:15 a.m. in the grassy area south of the booths. Some mats available, but bring one if you have one. Summer veggies are still available, and new this week, pumpkins! The Fairland Farmers Market is open from 8 to 11 a.m. every Saturday through the growing season, located near the Family Dollar parking lot (~50 N. Pine St.) in Fairland. 2. The 80th Annual REC Day celebrates 80 years of service to Northeast Oklahoma Electric Cooperative members Saturday, Sept. 15 starting at 8 a.m. at the Grove Civic Center. Enjoy the country and bluegrass music performed by Paul Bogart and Southband Mule. When you are hungry, head to the food line and grab yourself a barbecue pork sandwich. Bring the kids for their chance at a new bicycle and to burn off some energy in the Kidzone. There are also some great prizes for the grown-ups, including a 2018 John Deere Gator TE. Members do not have to be present to win.

3. Take in dinner and show Saturday, Sept. 15 at the River Bend Casino in Wyandotte featuring 'The Best of Motown and More with Eddie Valen'. Tickets are $25, show starts at 6:30 p.m. Purchase your tickets today by visiting www.riverbendcasino.com or the casino cashier.

4. Playland Lanes, 105 5th Ave NE, Miami, hosts the 2nd Annual Miami Youth Area USBC Fundraiser Sunday, Sept. 16 from noon to 3 p.m. $100 teams of 5 people for Bakers Bowl, shoes included. 5. Opening this weekend is “The Predator” rated R, yet another film in the sci-fi horror franchise about what happens when a young boy accidentally triggers the universe’s most lethal hunters’ return to Earth.
