BIG CABIN – The Grand Gateway Agency on Aging Ombudsman Program is looking for Ombudsman Volunteers.

An information and sign-up sessions will be held Tuesday and Wednesday, May 22 and 23 at the Grand Gateway Economic Development Association, 333 S. Oak in Big Cabin, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Light snacks and refreshments will be provided.

Ombudsman Volunteers are advocates between residents, family members, and staff for seniors in nursing home facilities, long-term care facilities, and residential care facilities.

Volunteers serve senior residents in Craig, Delaware, Mayes, Nowata, Ottawa, Rogers, and Washington counties as core members of the Grand Gateway AAA Ombudsman Program.
