Nadine Ernestine Watts, 87, of Miami passed away on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Higher Call Nursing Center in Quapaw. Nadine was born in the Turkey Ford area on January 11, 1931 to Roger E. and Hazel A. (Ray) Blois. She graduated from Grove High School with the Class of 1948 and went on to attend Business College. She married Leonard Watts on June 20, 1948 at Sycamore Chapel in Wyandotte. Nadine enjoyed cooking, family and being a homemaker. She was known as a sweet person with a pretty smile. Nadine’s parents Roger and Hazel Blois preceded her in passing along with her son Roy Watts, a brother Elroy Blois, and sisters Delores Oleskovich and Dorothy Blois Mathis.
Survivors include her love of seventy years Leonard Watts of the home and a daughter Beverly Armstrong and her husband Kyle of Broken Arrow, a sister in law Linda Watts of Bremerton, Washington, a grandson Bret Armstrong and his wife Mary of Tulsa, granddaughters Kayla Soutee and her husband Eric of Tulsa and Andrea Watts of Washington, her great grandchildren Avery Armstrong, Sophia Armstrong, Lydia Armstrong, Caleb Soutee and Ethan Soutee.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 8, 2018 from 6 until 7 p.m. at Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami.
Graveside services will be on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Grand Army of the Republic Cemetery. Interment is under the care of Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami.
