MIAMI — Graduating student artists from the Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College Art Department are hosting the Graduating Art Majors Art Show from April 17-27 in Kah-ne Hall on the NEO campus.

Artists Colleen Garrett, Evelyn Miller, Shariece Tate and Jeanette Hughes will display their art as they prepare to graduate.

The exhibit will feature the paintings, drawings and collages in the Charles Banks Wilson Gallery in Kah-Ne Hall.

All are welcomed to join the artists at an opening reception on April 17 with a reception starting at 3:30 p.m.

“This will be an exhibit of intriguing drawings, paintings and graphic design by four extremely talented and driven students who have excelled not only in art, but also in other academic pursuits and campus involvement while at NEO,” said Jessica Stout, art instructor.

In conjunction with the exhibit opening, a presentation will recognize recipients of the Calcagno Art Scholarship, the Kirsten Couch Art Scholarship, Miami Arts & Humanities Council’s 2017-18 Charles Banks Wilson Scholarship for Visual Art, Willie and Jane Osborn Music Scholarship, Ron Whaley Scholarship in the Humanities and the Charles Banks Wilson Fine Art Education Scholarships.
