Jerry Lee Bingham of Miami, Okla. passed from this life Thursday, April 12, 2018 at his home. He was 72.

Jerry was born June 18, 1945 in Vinita, Okla. to Leonard and Dorothy (Holaton) Bingham. Jerry had lived in Miami most of his life and a few years in Broken Arrow. He received his LPN degree in 1983 and Associates Degree in 1985 from Northeastern A&M College in Miami. Jerry served in the U.S. Army from 1962- 1965, he then worked for Luginbuel  Funeral Home in Vinita, Okla. and for Cooper Funeral Home in Miami, Okla. He then worked for Eagle – Picher and B.F. Goodrich, in 1982 went to work for Miami Baptist Hospital until his retirement.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings Bob, Ronnie and Betty. 

He married Norene  (Couch) Bingham June 29, 1967 and she survives of the home. Additional survivors include two daughters, Tammy Anderson and husband Russell of Enid, Okla. and Jerrie Lee Williams and husband Edgar of Oolagah, Okla., his siblings Lib, June and Flora and three grandsons and one granddaughter. 

Graveside services will be Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at 1 p.m. at the Fort Gibson National Cemetery in Fort Gibson, Okla. with military honors conducted.
