Judith Ann (Judy) Hogan of Miami, Okla. passed from this life on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Integris Miami Hospital in Miami, Okla. She was 78.
Judy was born December 10, 1939 at Pryor, Okla. to Mack Granville and Nancy Mildred (Foster) Jones. She had lived most of her life in Miami moving from Pryor.
Judy had worked as a waitress and hostess for many years. She managed the Continental Restaurant in Miami and owned and operated The Dugout in Miami, Hattie's in Commerce, Okla. and El… Toro in Welch, Okla.
Judy was preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Helmick, her parents and three sisters, Myrna DuBoise, Pat Stines and Betty Ketcher.
Judy married Don Hogan on July 30, 1988 at South Padre Island, Texas. He survives of the home in Miami. Additional survivors include her son, Mitch Hutson and wife Leah of Commerce, Okla, two daughters, Debra Hogan of Miami, Okla. and Dalene Rundell of Trinidad, Texas, her son-in-law, Corbin Helmick of Miami, Okla., her brother, Dennis Jones of Tulsa, Okla., her sister, Corrinne Pruitt Collins of Miami, Okla., six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, January 22, 2018 at Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Miami, Okla. with Rev. John Ketcher officiating. Interment will follow in G.A.R. Cemetery in Miami, Okla. with Justin Rundell, Dylan Hutson, Daniel Hutson, Corbin Helmick, Kevin Davis and Craig Rundell serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 3 to 5 p.m. at Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Miami. Services have been placed in the care of Paul Thomas Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Miami, Okla.
