Ella Lorene Alsbury of Quapaw, Okla. passed from this life, Monday, January 15, 2018 at Quaker Hill Nursing Center in Lowell, Kan. She was 100.
Ella was born October 4, 1917 in Webb City, Mo. to Claude and Dollie Alice (Dillon) Marsh. She lived in the Picher area since 1934 and was a member of the Douthat Holiness Church. She was a cook at NEO A&M College for 10 years and was a Senior Companion several years.
She married Noel Alsbury in 1934 and he preceded her in death in 1982. She was also preceded by two sons Gary Alsbury and Farrell Lee Alsbury, her parents and nine brothers and sisters.
Survivors include two sons Doyle Alsbury and wife Gloria of Quapaw, Okla and Darrell Alsbury and wife Edna of Fredrick, Okla., daughter-in-laws, Jacqueline Alsbury and Betty Alsbury of Miami, Okla., 14 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and many great -great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 10 a.m. at the G.A.R. Cemetery in Miami, Okla. Darrell Alsbury will officiate. Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
