Larry David Miller, Sr. of Miami, Okla. passed from this life on January 10, 2018 at Windridge Nursing Center in Miami, Okla. He was 81.

Larry was born April 9, 1936 in Afton, Okla. to Earl and Zelious (Richards) Miller.  He served in the U.S. Army during the Korea War and was a member of the VFW in Chanute, Kan. and American Legion Post.    He had lived in Miami since 1986 moving from Chanute, Kan.  He was a truck driver for Ruan Trucking of Chanute, Kan. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers Gene, Gerald, Charles and Melvin Miller and a great grandson.      

Survivors include three sons Larry D. Miller, Jr. of Miami, Okla., Steve Miller of Chanute, Kan. and Tony Miller of Springfield, Mo. and his daughter Cindy Forbes of Houston, Texas, 18 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter and  his companion for over 30 years June Sherman of Neosho, MO.   

A Celebration of Life services will be Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 1 p.m. at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Miami, Okla.  Rev.
