Find out what's swinging this weekend including some fun ways to welcome the New Year.

1. In theaters this weekend is the critically acclaimed “All the Money in the World” rated R, about the story of the kidnapping of 16-year-old John Paul Getty III and the desperate attempt by his devoted mother (Michelle Williams) to convince his billionaire grandfather Jean Paul Getty (Christopher Plummer) to pay the ransom.

2. The Long Assembly of God Church hosts its monthly all-you-can-eat breakfast Saturday, Dec. 30 from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Cost is just $5 for a hearty meal and fellowship. The church is located 4 miles south of Shawnee Grocery, around the sharp curve, then 1/2 mile on the right. The breakfast is held the last Saturday of every month.

3. College football bowl games continue this weekend with a full slate of games. Visit http://www.ncaa.com/sports/football/bowls for the full bowl schedule.

4. Las Vegas entertainers "The Rat Pack is Back" are coming to Miami for the Buffalo Run Casino NYE 2018 Celebration Sunday, Dec. 31. Relive the days of the Rat Pack with Las Vegas’ most famous entertainers and their live big band. It's no magic trick, but when David DeCosta (Frank), Drew Anthony (Dean), and Kyle Diamond (Sammy) hit the stage, it’s there—the same magic that filled the room when these three icons performed at the Sands during the ’60s and ’70s. Enjoy hors-d'oeuvres, champagne toast at midnight, balloon drop, party favors, a dance floor & more! Doors open at 9:30 p.m., 21 and over, tickets $40 in advance and $45 at the door.

5. Members of the Playmakers will host a New Year’s Eve Celebration, which includes a dance and show, from 8:30 p.m. until after midnight, Sunday, Dec. 31, at the former Moose Lodge, 61951 East 315 Road, Grove. The event will include a champagne toast, hats, horns, and a hors-d'oeuvres buffet. Reservations are $75 per person if ordered by Dec. 30. Tickets at the door will be $85. Tickets for a VIP table for friends or businesses (a minimum of six, up to 12) are $75 per person. Attendees must be 21 years and over.
