Marcia Jeanne Hamilton, 56, of Colorado Springs, Colo., died at 2:06 p.m., Sunday, November 12, 2017 at the Pikes Peak Hospice facility after a long battle with cancer.
She was born November 25, 1960 in Miami, Okla. to Clovis and Georgia (Ellington) Hines. Marcia grew up in Miami and graduated from Miami High School in 1979 and North Eastern Oklahoma A&M in 1981.
She married James Hamilton June 12, 1981. She enjoyed a wonderful life traveling with Jim while he served in the Army. She loved family, friends and travel. She especially enjoyed cruises and Sooner football.
In addition to her husband, survivors include: two sons, Michael Hamilton, of Colorado Springs, Colo.; Jacob Hamilton of San Jose, Calif.; one daughter and son in-law, Julie and Jason Dickinson, Independence, Mo.; and one sister, Karen Abbott of Burleson, Texas
Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, November 18, 2017 at the Pleasant Hill Church, with Tony Encarnacion officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
