Alice June (McFerron) Stone Williams of Miami, Okla. passed away Sunday, November 5, 2017 at Integris Miami Hospital in Miami, Okla. She was 88.

June was born June 14, 1929 in Commerce, Okla. to Sam and Mamie (Smith) McFerron. She spent her childhood in the Picher and Commerce area before moving to Miami where she lived most of her life.  She graduated from Miami High School and attended Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College in Miami.   She took vocal lessons and drama and theatre in High School and College.  June had worked at First National Bank in Miami as a cashier, Miami Public Utilities Water Department in Accounts Receivable for the Water Dept. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Miami for many years. 

She was preceded in death by her first husband Bob Stone in December 1976, by her parents, her brothers Charles, Art, Bob and Claude McFerron and sisters Edna Mae Lazenby and Ella Ruth Morris.  

She married Vernon Williams December 26, 1979 in Trenton, Ga. and he survives of the home.  Additional survivors include two sons Martin Robert Stone and wife Sally of Stillwater, Okla. and Alan Douglas Stone and wife Robin of Desoto, Kan., her daughter Sammye Stone Smith of Cushing, Okla., her brother Jerry McFerron of Miami, Okla., her sister Reva Kindsvater of Vinita, Okla., six grandchildren, Amie Howell, Duston Smith, Megan Smith, Elizabeth Stone, Ross Stone and Barbara Stone, six great grandchildren Jestiny Howell, Elijah Howell, Christopher Howell, Garrett Smith, Max Smith and Kale Smith. 

Funeral Services will be Thursday, November 9, 2017 at 10 a.m. at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Miami, Okla. Rev. Jay Kindsvater and Rev. Rick Longcrier will officiate. Interment will be in Ottawa Indian Cemetery, SE of Miami, Okla. Pallbearers will be Dustin Smith, Ross Stone, Michael Howell, Elijah Howell, Garrett Smith, James Morris and John McFerron. Honorary Pallbearers will be James Hanes, Jerry Wayne McFerron, David Rains, Steve Stone, Monty McFerron, Dale McFerron, Hollis Morris, Jon Kindsvater, Scott Stone and Richard Rains. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening at the funeral home from 4 to 7 p.m., the casket will be open from 4 to 5 p.m.  Services have been placed in the care of the Paul Thomas Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Miami, Okla.
