Johnny Malcomb Johnson of Miami, Okla. passed away Thursday, October 5, 2017 at Freeman Hospital in Joplin, Mo. He was 61.

John was born July 30, 1956 in Seadrift, Texas to Marvin M. and Pauline Vivian (Reeves) Johnson. He had lived in the Picher and Miami area most of his life. Bu trade he was a welder and mechanic, but he loved to farm and spend time with his grandkids. John was a member of the United in Christ Church of Quapaw, Okla.

He married Mary Joyce (Linker) Johnson on June 6, 1980, she survives of the home. Additional survivors include one son, Daniel Scism of Parsons, Kan., four daughters, Paula Willems of Miami, Okla., Angel Wood and husband Larry of Commerce, Okla., Jennifer Thedford and husband Billy of Lake Creek, Texas and Andrea Tullis of Broken Arrow, Okla., Honorary daughter and sons, Destiny McNeely of Quapaw, Okla. Justin Willems of Fort Riley, Kan. and Matt Edwards of Miami, Okla., three brothers Mark Johnson of North Miami, Okla., Nathan Johnson of Welch, Okla. and Joe Johnson of Missouri and a sister Martha McNally and husband Rick of Joplin, Mo., 18 grandchildren, Zachary Lamb, Jared Lamb, Ethan Lamb, Noah Willems, Jonnie-Johnson-Brandon, Jackson Willems, Jeremiah Willems, Macy Willems, Kasyn Edwards, Kiante Edwards, Makayla Edwards, Cymbre Edwards, Natasha Morway, Alex McAnally, Meghan McAnally, Jacob McAnally,  Christopher Graves and Addison Sprenkle and four great grandchildren, Lucas King, Zaydon Randolf, Hallye Randolf and Paisley Randolf.. 

Funeral Services will be Friday, October 13, 2017 at 1 p.m.  at the United In Christ Church in Quapaw, Okla. Rev. Cliff Redden will officiate. Pallbearers will be Zach Lamb, Kiante Edwards, Sean McAnally and Joe McAnally.  Interment will be in G.A.R. Cemetery in Miami, Okla. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday evening at Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Miami, Okla.
