Travis William Eads, 27, passed away on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 in Miami. Travis was born on August 26, 1990 in Miami to Alan and Ruth (Johnson) Eads. He graduated from Commerce High School where he was a star football player, enjoyed hunting and fishing; he was an amazing son, father, brother and friend. He always had everyone laughing.  He worked most recently as an Electrician’s Apprentice. Travis was preceded in passing by his Grandpa Garry Johnson and Grandma Judy Johnson, Grandma Pat Eads and Aunt Julie Howard.

Survivors include two sons Oakley and Bronx, his parents Alan and Ruth Eads, his grandfather Larry Eads, his Brother Zach and his wife Shairee, sister Whitney Smith and her husband Caleb, sister Bethany Eads, Brothers David Eads and Seth Eads, nephews Easton, Caston, Jase and Cain and niece Lanie, his fiancé Cheyenne Foster, his adopted daughter Rae Ann along with numerous aunts and uncles.

Visitation will be on Friday, October 6, 2017 at Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami from 6 until 8 p.m.

Travis will have a Celebration of Life 10 a.m. Saturday, October 7, 2017 at the Commerce High School Gym with Reverend Brad Jinks and Pastor James Cox officiating. Interment will follow at the Grand Army of the Republic Cemetery under the care of Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Miami.

Casketbearers will be Jordan Glover, Cameron Coombes, Dylan Hudson, Robby White, Caleb Smith and Dakota Foster.

Honorary Casketbearers will be Seth Eads, David Eads and Zach Eads.

The family has asked that memorial contributions be made to Travis Eads Children’s fund and to help with service cost. Contributions can be sent in care of the funeral home.
