MIAMI — Over the next week, Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College will be transported back in time to the 1960s to celebrate Peace, Love, and Homecoming, as NEO prepares to take on the Cisco College Wranglers.
The Homecoming game is set for Oct. 7, and kickoff is at 6 p.m.
Homecoming week will begin on Wednesday, Oct. 4, with the Homecoming Kickoff and NEO is inviting the community to join the celebration and enjoy games, food, and fun.
Dinner will run from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. by the NEO fountain and wristbands for food will cost $5 for adults, NEO employees and children will be $3 and students are free with an NEO ID.
NEO will also continue the tradition of the homecoming pageant on Thursday, followed by a Friday pep rally, and game day celebrations, starting with the NEO Outstanding Alumni Banquet at noon.
The community is invited to attend homecoming week events, which are all free unless otherwise noted.
In the event of rain, the kickoff will move to the NEO Student Activity Center and pep rally will take place in the NEO Gymnasium.

Norseman Pep Rally - 7 p.m. at Red Robertson Field. That will be followed by the “Not So Newlywed Game” and Movie on the Turf: “Austin Powers”
Saturday, Oct. 7 – PEACE, LOVE, AND HOMECOMING - GAME DAY
Alumni Banquet - (Calcagno Family Ballroom) noon

Parade lineup at 3 p.m. The parade route will follow Central Street and turn onto I Street on the NEO campus
Tailgate - 4:30 p.m. NEO students are free with ID. Public is $6 for adults and $3 for children 5-10 (price includes admission to the game)
Game at 6 p.m. with coronation at halftime
