Jeffrey Cade Harkins, 46 of Dawson, Texas died Thursday, September 28, 2017 near Red Bay, Ala.

Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Miami, Okla. officiated by Rev. Geoff Buffalo. Burial will follow at Glen Abbey Cemetery, Miami, Okla.

Pallbearers will be: Chad Harkins, Kacey Carrigan, David Harkins, Chris Harkins, Brandon Harkins, Stephen Harkins, Jason Harkins and Justin C. Harkins.
Jeffrey was born to Cade… Jefferson Harkins, III and Beverly Ann (Keller) Harkins December 11, 1970 in Dallas, Texas. After graduating high school in Sequin, Texas he attended Texas State University for one year and then Jeff served in the U.S. Army. He worked as a long-haul truck driver and logged millions of miles. Jeffrey was a member of the Quapaw Tribe of Oklahoma. He enjoyed building computers for family members. Jeffrey was known for his kind soul, generous heart and fun-loving spirit.
Jeffrey is survived by his father and step-mother, Cade J. and Lynda Harkins of Dawson, Texas; brother, Brent Harkins and wife, Andrea of Burleson, Texas; sister, Trisha Britt of Granbury, Texas; nephews: Chad Harkins of Fort Worth, Texas, Blake Rice of Granbury, Texas, Brant Rice of Arlington, Texas, Caden Harkins, Tristan Harkins both of Burleson, Texas; aunts and uncles: Pam Mulder, Harold Keller of Jefferson, Texas; Rev. Warren W. Harkins and wife, Caroline of McAlester, Kim Carrigan and wife, Linda of Miami and numerous other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Beverly Ann Keller; paternal grandfather, Cade Jefferson Harkins, Jr. and paternal grandmother, Shirley Dean (Buffalo) Baker; maternal grandparents, Harold Keller, Sr. and Shirley Poulin.
Services have been placed in the care of Paul Thomas Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Miami, Okla.
