MIAMI – The NRA Foundation has awarded the Ottawa County 4-H Shooting Sports program a grant totaling $4,357.91 to fund supplies and equipment to help grow the program.

"We are very excited about our Shooting Sports program," said Courtney May with the Ottawa County Extension Office, "and pleased that the NRA is making an investment in our community."

The Ottawa County 4-H Shooting Sports will meet for Air Rifle and Archery on the 3rd Tuesday of each month starting Sept. 19 at 6:30 p.m. at the Exhibition building. Shotgun practices will be on the 3rd Sunday of each month with the starting date to be announced.
