Buffalo Run Casino & Resort continues support of INTEGRIS Generations program with stockpile of movie themed donations and a sizable monetary gift.
MIAMI – For the third year in a row, Buffalo Run Casino & Resort has partnered with the INTEGRIS Generations program to help enhance the experience of the geriatric unit's clients.
Steve Beshore, Buffalo Run Casino & Resort General Manager presented the donated items along with a check to INTEGRIS Regional Medical Center President Jonas Rabel Thursday, Sept. 7 in the main lobby of the INTEGRIS Miami Hospital.
Staff from both agencies collaborated again this year to assess the current needs of Generations clients and settled on an entertainment theme centered around the movies.
Buffalo Run guests and team members collected 368 DVDs, 196 VCR tapes, 22 Blu-Ray movies and a video player during the month of August for the donation. The casino also included a commercial grade popcorn maker and a $2,000 check in their gift to the program. Over the last three years, Buffalo Run has donated over $5,000 specifically to INTEGRIS Generations.
It was also announced Thursday that Buffalo Run will be partnering again with INTEGRIS in February to provide vouchers for HeartScan life-saving screenings that precisely measure calcium deposits in the arteries.
