Jean Hazel (Williams) Seabourn of Miami, Okla. passed away Friday, August 04, 2017 at Windridge Nursing and Rehab Center in Miami, Okla.  She was 98.

Jean was born September 1, 1918 in Strome, Alberta, Canada to John S. and Lena (Coffelt) Williams. She entered the U.S. from Canada, December 15, 1919 by train at Emerson, Minn. and became an American Citizen on April 13, 1960 in Tulsa, Okla. She had lived in the Miami, Fairland and Grove area most of her life. She graduated from Grove High School in 1936 and was a member of the First Christian Church in Grove. She was also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Daughters of Union Soldiers  of the Civil War and VFW Auxiliary. She loved quilt making, reading, walking & dancing, family genealogy and was an avid OU fan. She had worked as a bookkeeper for KGLC Radio Station, Burlington Mfg. Co. and Cole Drug Store all in Miami.  

She married John C. Seabourn, November 7, 1936 and he preceded her in death January 11, 1980. She was also preceded by her parents, two brothers Jimmie Williams and Bert Williams and two sisters Vera Bair and Alice Walker.

Survivors include two daughters Shirley Deason of Norman, Okla. and Shelby Thompson of Fairland, Okla., her sister Gladys Barrett of Sugarland, TX, four grandchildren Gregg Deason, Judy Kowal, Kerri Sloman and Jon Deason , four great grandchildren Jeremy Deason, Candice Morris, Kortney Woolly and Kayla Kowal and one great great grandson Weston Deason. 

Funeral Services  will be Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at 2 p.m. at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Miami, Okla. Benny Seabourn and Pastor Gary Radtke will officiate. Interment will be in Buzzard Cemetery in Grove, Okla. Pallbearers will be Benny Seabourn, Larry Kowal, Jeremy Deason, Cody Woolly and Keith Thompson. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home chapel.
