Wilma L. Carrier of North of Treece, Kan. passed away July 26, 2017 in Pittsburg, Kan. She was 91.
Mrs. Carrier was born January 20, 1926 in Tipton, Iowa to George and Golda (Burnet) Truman.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Highway Tabernacle in Quapaw, Okla.
She is preceded in death by husband Lowell Carrier, three sons Mantel Carrier, Tom Carrier and Richard Carrier three daughters Dorothy Carrier, Linda Carrier and Golda Ellen.
Survivors two sons David Carrier of Miami, Okla. and Steve Truman of Tulsa, Okla.; four daughters, Sandy Altendorf of Wichita, Kan., Debbie Lowery of Dallas, Texas, Karen Carrier of Baxter Springs, Kan. and Susan Carrier of Vinita, Okla.; one brother, Virgil Truman of Waterloo, Iowa; one sister, Lois Leffler of Goddard, Kan., 25 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Services will be held Sunday July 30, 2017 at 1 p.m. the Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Commerce, Okla. officiated by Pastor Ray Clonts. Interment will follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Treece, Kan. under the direction of the Paul Thomas Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Commerce, Okla. The family will receive friends and relatives Saturday July 29, 2017 from 12 to 2 p.m. at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Commerce. Friends and Relatives will serve as Pallbearers.
