The ODOT public meeting will be held at the Fairland Elementary School Cafeteria at Church Ave. and Perry St. at 6 p.m.

FAIRLAND – A proposal to improve two miles of US-60 around the SH-137 junction is scheduled to be discussed in Fairland on Thursday, July 13.

The project would replace bridges over the Spring and Neosho Rivers, reconfigure the existing US-60/SH-137 junction and also widen a segment of US-60 to include shoulders.

As this is located at the Twin Bridges State Park, access improvements to the boat launch area are also being considered. An environmental study is ongoing at this time, and the Oklahoma Department of Transportation will be providing updates and also seeking additional public input to help in the development of the project plans.

The meeting will be held at the Fairland Elementary School Cafeteria at Church Ave. and Perry St. at 6 p.m.

All project materials will also be made available online following the meeting at www.odot.org/publicmeetings.
