Dixie Pauline Eulitt, a longtime area resident passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2017 at Eastwood Manor in Commerce, she was ninety-three. Dixie was born on March 6, 1924 in Anderson, Mo. to Leonard Clifford and Clara Ann (Collins) Edwards. She later married Donald Grigsby Eulitt in 1939. She was a homemaker that enjoyed sewing, China painting, crafts and was a fantastic cook. She had been a member of the Commerce Community Church since 1970. Dixie was preceded in passing by her parents, Leonard and Clara Edwards, her husband Don Eulitt, a son Leonard Eulitt, a daughter Donna Eulitt and three sisters.
Survivors include her sons, Rusty Eulitt of Commerce, Frank Eulitt of Miami, Bob Eulitt and wife Robin also of Miami. Other survivors include her grand children Lisa Johnson and her husband Rusty, Lori Estep and her husband Brian, Tina Berry and her husband Mike and Daniel Eulitt along with her eight great-grandchildren, ten great great-grandchildren and a sister Elnora Griffith of Joplin and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation is Wednesday, June 28, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami.
Graveside Services are 10:00 a.m. on Thursday at Grand Army of the Republic Cemetery in Miami under the care of Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami.
