No children were injured in the incident according to police officers on the scene, but two vehicles owned by court employees sustained substantial damage.

MIAMI- A Miami Public Schools bus driver hit two vehicles this afternoon parked north of the Ottawa County Courthouse in Miami.

No children were injured in the incident according to police officers on the scene, but two vehicles owned by court employees sustained substantial damage.

Witnesses at the scene said the impact of the bus was very loud and slid one vehicle several feet forward. Most students remained on the bus and the same driver was allowed to leave once police determined by observation she was not under the influence and continued her route delivery of children.

Miami Public Schools Transportation Director Mark Malcolm was on the scene of the incident and said the driver had no medical issues he was aware of and there were no other drivers available to complete the bus route.
