A two car collision blocked Main Street briefly Monday evening but caused only minor injury.

MIAMI – A two-vehicle collision cluttered Main Street for awhile in Miami on Monday night around 7:23 p.m.

According to the Miami Police Department's collision report written by Sgt. R.W. Weaver, a witness observed a 2002 Chevrolet Venture driven by Nolen Batie, 39, of North Miami stop before entering U. S. Highway 69/North Main Street and then proceed to make a left turn onto Main Street.

Nolen's vehicle struck a southbound 1993 GMC Sierra driven by Dillon Ball, 22, of Commerce in the passenger side door.

Batie told police he did not see Ball's vehicle before pulling onto Main Street.

Batie and his two passengers were uninjured. Ball received external trunk injuries.
